ABOUT ME
Hi, my name is Alicia and I am the owner of S8 Podiatry Clinic. I qualified in 2014 from The University of Salford. During this time I worked in various Routine, Diabetic, Rheumatoid, and Biomechanical Clinics enhancing my clinical and patient management skills.

Once qualified I moved back home to Sheffield and worked for the NHS for a year. I focused on; preventing, treating, and diagnosing abnormal conditions of the feet and keeping people active, mobile and as independent as possible.
Treating painful conditions such as ingrown nails, corns, and callus to avoid infections and discomfort.
Providing patient education on general foot care, footwear, diabetes and other common foot complaints.

I then moved to Australia to see what life would be like 'Down Under'. I worked as a community and clinical Podiatrist providing domiciliary and clinical treatments to patients in their homes, aged care facilities and in clinic. I conducted biomechanical assessments for children and adults, using 3D scanning technology to accurately prescribe custom orthotics.

I have been working and running my own clinic in Woodseats since 2016.
